Suzette Galyean To All Instructors
I was born and raised in Puerto Rico and moved to New Jersey in my early twenties. I did not speak English but went to the local community college to take ESL (English as a second language) classes while finishing my Accounting college degree. A few years later, in 2014, I moved to Maryland with my husband. Now we have a blended family of 7 with only our youngest daughter Zoe left at home. I wear a lot of hats besides being a mom and a wife; I am a Real Estate investor, a Licensed Public Insurance Adjuster, and a Certified Affordable Housing Provider. In 2020 we started our new family endeavor of raising service dogs for Guiding Eyes For the Blind. We began with Irie, who was a yellow lab; Thunder, a German Shepherd; Randall, a black lab; and we are currently raising Calypso, a yellow lab which is the baby of our first dog Irie. What started as a project has become our passion. Always open to new adventures, experiences, and opportunities. I love to learn new things, especially business and dog training.
